Confidentiality vs Legal Obligations

In some cases there may be a legal obligation to disclose information. For example, in the case of certain infectious diseases or by court order.

Confidentiality vs The Advance of Medical Knowledge

Audit, teaching and research may also require the disclosure of confidential patient information.
